" I learned so much from Dr. Williams about acupuncture and holistic medicine. I was very inspired by her to broaden my knowledge so that I can have as many tools as possible available to help my patients. I loved hearing from her clients how much she has improved the lives of their pets. She was so warm and comforting towards her clients, seeing her work was a great example of the kind of communicator and doctor that I hope to grow into. I really enjoyed being able to talk through my thinking with all of the doctors, everyone was so supportive and encouraging. I loved being able to discuss blood work and radiographs, it gave me great real world practice of skills I have been developing during my time in vet school. In just two weeks I have been able to grow immensely as a professional thanks to the encouragement and enthusiasm of the staff at Bishop Ranch and Amador. I am looking forward to hopefully returning as an extern during my 4th year clinical rotations! "

"It was truly empowering watching the doctors perform laproscopic procedures, ultrasound and treatments for cancer as GP. I enjoyed being with a variety of doctors and seeing how they explain different things which allowed me to expand my knowledge and gain a diverse way of thinking."

"I loved the number of doctors and ability to see similar management strategies while still having their own approach.I improved on drug dosages which was something I was hoping to get out of this externship, everyone was kind and welcoming."

The entire staff and all veterinarians are very knowledgeable and helpful. The standard of care is exceptional and learning opportunities are available 24/7.
